Basket Weave Chest Harness

Standard Safety disclaimer: Bondage is fun but it can also be dangerous. Ropes that are too tight or in the wrong place can cut off blood flow or cause nerve damage. It is your responsibility to ensure that you play safely. Whatever you do, have fun doing it!


Step 1 - Make a lark's head around the chest. Start with the loop (bight) in the back.

Step 2- Run the rope under one breast and over the other.

Step 3 - Run the second band around the chest next to the first band.

Step 4 - Feed the working end back through the bight created when you made the second band and bring it back around the chest as in step 5.

Step 5 - Run the rope under the breast and under the first band but over the second band to start the weaving.

Step 6 - Bring the rope back around to the back side and feed it through the bight. Continue around to the front again.
Step 6 – Bring the rope back around to the back side and feed it through the bight. Continue around to the front again.
Step 7 - Bring the rope back around to the front and continue the weaving by feeding the tails over the bottom band and under the top band.
Step 7 – Bring the rope back around to the front and continue the weaving by feeding the tails over the bottom band and under the top band.
Step 8 - Continue and bring the rope around to the back again.
Step 8 – Continue and bring the rope around to the back again.
Step 9 - Feed the rope through the bight and over the shoulder in the direction you just came from.

Step 10 - Feed the rope under the top band on the opposing breast.
Step 10 – Feed the rope under the top band on the opposing breast.
Step 11 - Continue the weaving by feeding the tails over the second band and then under the first band under the breast.

Step 12 - Continue by feeding the tails under the bottom band on the other breast.
Step 12 – Continue by feeding the tails under the bottom band on the other breast.
Step 14 - Run the tails under the rope coming from the shoulder and then back over the opposing shoulder.
Step 14 – Run the tails under the rope coming from the shoulder and then back over the opposing shoulder.
Step 15 - Finish the harness by looping the rope under the bight and tying it in your favorite manner.
